Helen L. Hermann

Helen L. Hermann, age 77, of Newton Falls passed away peacefully at her daughters home on Friday night April 5, 2024.  She was born on Dec. 24, 1946 in Wooster, OH the daughter of Raymond Charles Tilton and Elizabeth Francis (Sheets)Tilton.  Helen had lived in Newton Falls with her daughter for the past 9 years, formerly of Garrettsville, OH. She was a self employed beautician for over 50 years and owned two salons in Ravenna the Garden Spot Hair Salon and the Rogers Hair Salon.  Helen was best known for her infectious laughter, smile, and her famous hard candy & peanut brittle. Helen enjoyed bowling, gardening, camping and loved spending time with her family & friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, 1 son: Michael Krajcik and 1 brother: Carroll Lee Smarr.

Helen is survived by: 1 daughter: Kim A. Kolb of Newton Falls, 1 son: Joey & Amber Hermann of Garrettsville, OH, 1 brother: Robert & Cathy Tilton of Wooster, OH, her ex-husband and close friend: Larry Hermann of Garrettsville, 6 grandchildren: Corey, Steven, Christopher, Allison, Alexander, Nicholas, and 6 great grandchildren: CJ, Emma, Dean, Parker, Karli, and Jacob.

Cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Life Service will be at Vinny's @ Roby Lee's Restaurant & Banquet Center 425 Ridge Rd. Newton Falls, OH 44444 on Sunday April 14, 2024 from 11:00am - 3:00pm. Dr. Mike Carlson will be officiating the service at 1:30PM.
